Famous Lithuanian football player and coach Valdas Ivanauskas will not attend the elite round match between the Georgian and the Belgian U-19 teams in Bornem this evening. Valdas informed us on the phone this morning. He mentioned he was going to stay in Belgium till May 30 but he had to return to Lithuania because of football reasons.
Ivanauskas attended the matches of the Georgian U-19 team against England in Bornem (May 24) and against Scotland in Westerlo (May 26). He was observing some players but did not name them.
Valdas told us he is going to attend the match of Ireland and Georgia in Dublin on June 2. “If nothing important business occurs, I will be in Dublin. I continue relationship with Georgian football”, - added the Lithuanian specialist.
To the question “what are you going to do as a coach”, he answered: “I have some offers. This issue will be decided soon”.
