The site of the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (www.iffhs.de) released the ranking of the national championships. The Georgian national championship is in the 50^th place in the world and in the 27^th place in Europe.

Russia (No.7), Ukraine (No.14), Moldova (No.41) and Azerbaijan (No.43) are ahead of Georgia from the post-Soviet countries. This ranking is renewed each year and last year Georgia was in the 46^th place.

Spain is the strongest league. England, Germany and Italy come after.
