Aleksandre Iashvili, Georgian legionary of “Inter” Baku, is the oldest football player of Azerbaijani Premier League in the current season. Azerbaijani internet portal apasport.az reports it.

Iashvili will turn 36 years old on 23 October. Samir Abbasov, captain of “Sumgayit”, is in the second place among the oldest players. He turned 35 on 1 February. Igor Mitreski, Macedonian defender of “Neftchi” Baku, is in the third place. He turned 34 on 19 February.

As for the youngest player of Azerbaijani Premier League, it is Farid Kerimzade, midfielder of “Sumgayit”. He was born on 5 April, 1997.
