Oleg Gvelesiani who has played for many non-Georgian clubs stated in conversation with Azerbaijani press that “Turan” Tovuz is the worst club he had ever played for.

“It is the fault of managers of “Turan” that I do not play football now. They are lairs. They made me play and did not pay salary. “Turan” is the worst club I have ever known. They invite players and then, do not pay salary”, - stated the 32-year-old left defender.

Gvelesiani played for “Turan” in 2011. “Standard” Sumgayit is his first Azerbaijani club where he held only one match in 2009.
