Guram Kashia, captain of “Vitesse”, told Voetbal International that before moving to Holland he did not know about what project was planned in the Arnhem club. Besides that, Kashia mentioned that Merab Zhordania is his real friend.

“I captained “Dinamo” Tbilisi at the age of 21. Merab worked for this club. He did not know me but had heard a lot of good things about me.

I was ready to leave Georgia and to gain qualification. Merab has good relationship with my agent Giorgi Gakhokidze and I came to Arnhem. When I arrive in Holland, I did not know what project was planned in the club.

I was doing to my job. Merab is my friend. He is an honest person. Believe me, he knows football” – stated Kashia who transferred to “Vitesse” in summer 2010.
