“Dila” Gori will face the Danish club at the qualifying stage of Europa League. Last year “Dila” played “Aarhus” and this year – “Aalborg”. The Georgian club defeated “Aarhus” 2:1 3:1. “Aalborg” started playing from the second stage where it lost to Czech “Slavia” (0:0, 1:3). It took the 5th place at the Danish Championship.
2008-09 seasons were good for “Aalborg”. The club played in the group stage of Champions League. Its opponents were Scottish “Celtic”, English “Manchester” and Spanish “Villarreal”. The Danish club played three draws, lost 3 matches and took the third place. At Europa League “Aalborg” defeated Spanish “Deportivo” and lost to “Manchester City”.
The first match will take place in Tbilisi on 18 July and the second – on “Nordjyske Arena” (13800 spectators) in Aalborg on 25 July.
