There was an army of football fans for hour and half at the Tbilisi airport. They were waiting for arrival of Georgian U-19 team. They arrived an hour and half later, but in spite of this the fans even did not move from the place. They greeted the heroes very well.
Gia Tsetsadze:” we had difficult and tense matches. In the first match we had a big chance with England but we missed it. In the second time we lost this chance and ended the match in a draw. As for Scotland, I made a comment there and I think the same now, but they received a relevant response from us. The president of Federation and general secretary arrived at once and they were supporting us till the end. At the beginning supposedly they thought that we do not anyone to support and protect, but then they improved unfair refreeing and even apologized. But this match reflected on the team very much, because due to unfair refereeing we lost a lot of players. We had a goalkeeper as No.12 to play in an emergency situation. As for our victory, first of all we won by the will of God and a correct playing of guys, as well as a correct strategy in offence. Maybe England, Scotland, Belgium are stronger than we are and seem better than we do, but it did not mean a lot. The guys offended in a very determined way and here is a result. After a qualifying stage we expect a good result at European championship too. We are not going to stop at it”.
Nika Chanturia:” we had difficult matches. All of them were very important and we did our best in all the matches. It is pleasant that so many fans greeted us. I would like to thank them. I would like to distinguish the match against Scotland, because this match was very tense. We were 9, two were missing, but fortunately we won. We managed to turn the match. The last match also was psychologically very tense. I would like to notify that our goal at Europe championship is also winning a prize place”.
