Giorgi Chanturia made comment on the quarrel with Kokorin of “Dinamo” Moscow. The Georgian has 8-match disqualification and he will serve it in any championship.

Giorgi stated it is pity that his career in Russia ended up this way.

“I am sure that I will behave differently if this incident occurs again. I do not think that everything is my fault. It was my reaction to his rudeness. Georgians are pride people and we respond any insult. I behaved this way against Kokorin. It does not matter where this match would be held. It may happen in Holland and I will have the same reaction. Everybody is responsible for his behavior. When referee showed me red card, I thought not about disqualification, sanction or about my future at the Russian Championship, but I thought that I betrayed “Alania”. The club where I had perfect conditions from the very first day. So, please, forgive me! I will remember you in Holland, “Vitesse” where I will return soon”.
