Georgian Futsal Association conference was held in Vake, at the conference hall of Mikheil Meskhi stadium. As you know, the situation is very complicated in Futsal. The Championship is not held, the best club “Iberia Star” is on the verge of collapse, contradistinction is in the association and the worst is that the solution does not appear. At least now, we learned that GFF suspended the membership of Futsal Association until December 31 and ordered to amend the charter and schedule elections.
The session lasted for an hour and it turned out to be quite emotional. To tell the truth, I was seriously upset because I did not understand what was happening. However, then they calmed me and told that almost everyone were in my condition. Two decisions were received: levan Grigolia was chosen as a new vice-president instead of Devi Siradze, vice-president and board member who died, and Zviad Khichirashvili was chosen as a board member. Financial issued are still unanswered. “World Sport” talked to Giorgi Darjania, board member and director of “Iberia Star”.
-You questions to Levan Tskitishvili, president of the Association, still remained unanswered…
-Yes. The main issue – financial account, which should have presented by the president, fell again due to his absence. We send him a massage 2 weeks before the conference. He confirmed that he got this message, but the fact is that he did not appear.
According to the regulations, the board members have the right to demand the financial records. Tskitishvili is obliged to agree the issue about spending even one tetri to the board. We ask usual thing, which happens in any organization.
- You recently sent a letter in UEFA.
-Yes. We sent a list of specific fact to UEFA and I am responsible about the accuracy of these fact.
- What is the way out of this situation?
- Because Tskitishvili refused even to talk with us, the only way out is the Civil Code, in which are relevant articles about prevention to the same organization by the same members of this society and so on. we will continue to work in the same line.
- When will the Championship start?
-It must begin on November 16, about in one week’s time, but we have not received yet the regalement and the calendar of the Championship and I do not know how many teams will be involved in this tournament. We do not know what will be parttaking payments and the place where this tournament should be held. Let’s ask to football players, fans: Is it normal when none of the teams know nothing before the Championship start?
- Congress said, that the elections will begin from 7-8 or December 14-15
-I have heard suddenly that Tskitishvili is going to held elections. this is one more example that he does not want to collaborate with us and sends us some directives from far. it is quite surprising.
