The victory of Georgian U-19 team at European Elite-Round and going through the final stage of Euro-2013 caused a big resonance. Local journalists, fans and specialists were not hiding their emotions while talking to us and were repeating the cheers of Georgian fans at Bornem stadium “Georgia Champion! Georgia master-class”.

We felt the sympathy of the hosts in Brussels, while walking in the streets today, when local citizens, especially elder generation, were reading “Georgia” written on Georgians’ clothes. We have been walking with such clothes for ten days, but on May 29, in Bornem, after beating Belgium the attention and respect towards Georgians became double.

We cannot forget how disappointed was Jos de Rik the director of Elite-round, a member of the executive committee of Belgium football association  while being at Bornem stadium after the match on May 29. In VIP-box he congratulated us this victory but seemed very disappointed.
