“Chikhura” Sachkhere defeated “Turnovo” of Macedonia 1:0 in the first match of UEFA Europa League first qualifying round.
The match turned out tough for the Georgian club because the guests played with 10 players. At the 42nd minute Hungarian referee Adam Nemeth sent off Chikvaidze from the field.
The only goal of the match was scored at the 31st minute when Gabedava took a corner kick and Kuchukhidze scored goal.
“Chikhura” had a chance to score the second goal. At the 39th minute Bechvaia missed target.
The Macedonians were dominating in the second half and had a chance to equalize the score. Somkhishvili parried the shots of Pandev and Georgiev.
The second leg will take place at the Mikheil Meskhi stadium in Tbilisi on July 10. The match will start at 20:00. In the second leg “Chikhura” will lack disqualified Chikvaidze.
