Aleksandre Iashvili a striker of German “Bochum” stated in a talk with “World Sport” that if he does not enjoy playing football any more, he will finish his career in summer.

- What is the reason that you have not recently been in the 18-man line-ups of “Bochum”?

- I have not played in the last three matches, I have talked to Peter Noirurer the head coach of the club several times, but he cannot say the reason why I do not play.

- According to the information which has been spread in German press, Noirur stated that the reason is that you are not in a relevant condition..

- He has not said such thing to me.

- Why has Nika Gelashvili been sent to “Bochum II”?

- The head coach offered Gelashvili to play in the second team for having more playing practice.

- If it goes on in such way, you and Gelashvili might leave the club, do not you?

- Gelashvili has a contract for two years, as for me, I specially signed a one year contract and in summer I will think will I play football or not. I have been playing for whole life and I have never been in substitutions. I have not play in the last three matches and I cannot get used on it and I will not. If I see that I will not be able to play and I cannot do better than young players, I might stop playing in summer.

- So you have to make a choice- continue or stop, do not you?

- If we look through, players at my age do not play in Germany, I really have to make a choice. There are some players, who are satisfied only with being in the club and there is no matter he will play or not at such age. I have been playing for so long time that I enjoyed playing. If I see that I do not enjoy playing I will stop playing.

- You have been playing football for so much time and retire will be difficult, will not it?

- Of course, it is very difficult, but I played a lot and I am very satisfied with my career. That’s why making a choice will be easy.

- When you stop playing, will you stay in football?

- Let’s see, three rounds are left before ending championship and I hope that I will play, then I will decide what will happen.

- In the letter published on Facebook you seemed disappointed, that after such devoted working, players cannot retire honorably from Georgian national team…

- There was not talk about farewell match of some players in this letter. Most of them paid more attention to farewell matches. No one demanded have such thing. The main thing is attitude. A player who has played for national team must be appreciated relevantly. It is common everywhere. No one demands coach to call some players up for national team. The football federation and the coach of the national team have just to inform their opinion directly a player who has played for a team for a long time. The coach must not explain his decisions to everyone, but he has to explain a player his opinion and position.
