According to Azerbaijani internet portal azerifootball.com, Merab Zhordania, former president of GFF and “Dinamo” Tbilisi, who was an owner of “Vitesse” Arnhem for 3 years, will work as the executive director in “Inter” Baku.
Azerifootball.com reports that a few months ago, Zhordania was in Baku, where he met honorary president of “Inter” Jakhangir Gajiev, who is a chairman of the supervisory board of International Bank of Azerbaijani.
On the meeting, it was decided that from now Zhordania is responsible for getting staffs in club and recruitment process. His first step is to invite Dutch sport director in “Inter” in November.
According to azerifootball.com, Zhordania promised to Gajiev that the team will play at the group stage of Euro Cups, but for this is needed to increase the budget.
Kakha Tskhadadze is a head coach of “Inter” and Zaur Svanadze helps him. Four Georgian legionaries play for the team of Baku: goalkeeper Giorgi Lomaia, defenders Lasha Salukvadze and Aleksandre Amisulashvili, forward Bachana Tskhadadze.
