24 Players will Prepare for the Match against Ireland

Georgian national team starts the official part of the preparation for the Euro 2016 qualifying. From August 26 including August 30, 21 Georgian players hold the special meeting under the leadership of Ketsabaia and hold two friendly matches. The candidates of the national team won over “Spartak” Tskhinvali 2:0 (goals: L.Parunashvili, T.Grigalashvili). The match between the team of Ketsbaia and “Sioni” Bolnisi also ended with the same score (2:0) (goals: G.Papunashvili, G.Dolidze). Out of this composition, Ketsbaia picked five players, to whom the legionaries will join. The composition for the match against Ireland is following:

Goalkeepers: Giorgi Loria (“OFI”, Greece), Roin Kvaskhvadze (“Othellos”, Cyprus), Omar Migineishvili (“Dinamo Tbilisi”), Maksime Kvilitaia (“Chikhura”, Sachkhere).

Defenders: Guram Kashia (“Vitesse”, Netherlands), Ucha Lobzhanidze (“Omonia”, Cyprus), Akaki Khubutia (“Hapoel”, Petah-Tikva, Isreal), Solomon Kverkvelia (“Rubin”, Russia), Gia Grigalava (“Anzhi”, Russia), Giorgi Rekhviashvili (“Boluspor”, Turkey), Temur Gongadze (“Chikhura”, Sachkhere).

Midfielders: Murtaz Daushvili (“UFA”, Russia), Sandro Kobakhidze (“Volyn”, Ukraine), Levan Khmaladze (“Othellos”, Cyprus), Jaba Kankava (“Dnipro”, Ukraine), Davit Targamadze (“Illichivets”, Ukraine), Valeri Kazaishvili (“Vitesse”, Netherlands), Tornike Okriashvili (“Genk”, Belgium), Jano Ananidze (“Spartak”, Russia), Avto Ebralidze (“Gil Vicente”, Portugal), Grigol Dolidze (“Samtredia”), Irakli Dzaria (“Dinamo”, Tbilisi).

Forwards: Levan Mchedlidze (“Empoli”, Italy), Nikoloz Gelashvili (“Flamurtari”, Albania).

According to UEFA rules, 23 football players will hit the list for the match against Ireland.

The Georgian national team will hold the first training session tomorrow, on September 1 at “Dinamo Arena”, 19:30. Before the training process, Temur Ketsbaia will hold a press conference at 19:00.

The match of Georgia and Ireland will be held on September 7 at 20:00 and will take place at “Dinamo Arena”.
