2:0 - Dives of Loria, Factor of Okriashvili, Goal of Dvalishvili

The Georgian national football team defeated Saudi Arabia 2:0 in a friendly match which took place in the city of Spain, Jerez. It is good to win but it is not pleasant when the opponent which lost to Moldova 0:4 had so many goal moments.

The Saudi Arabians had two chances in the first 12 minutes but they missed.

It was not good match for watching. None of the teams managed to make a good combination. Tornike Okriashvili was the most active from the Georgians. Sandro Kobakhidze played from the right, Vako Kazaishvili played in the midfield and Otar Martsvaladze was the only forward.

Saba Kvirkvelia played in lineup for the first time. Kvirkvelia and Akaki Khubutia played in defense. Ucha Lobzhanidze and Gia Grigalava played on the wings. Many Georgians lacked playing practice.

At the end of the first half Okriashvili took a free kick and scored goal – 1:0.

At the beginning of the second half Giorgi Loria saved his team three times.

Defender Levan Kakubava replaced forward Kazaishvili. Giorgi Papava substituted Kobakhidze and Levan Khmaladze – Okriashvili.

Before the substitution Okriashvili earned goal assist and Lado Dvalishvili scored goal – 2:0. Dvalishvili has not scored goal in the national team since October 2009.

On June 3 the Georgian national team will face the United Arab Emirates in Switzerland.
