Today, before the last round matches of Elite Round group stage, Georgian national U-17 team started the last training in Viena.

All the players participated in training. Fortunately, our guys do not suffer from traumas and they are preparing for tomorrow’s match very determined.  As you know, in the last round Georgia meets against Austria, as for Serbia, it plays against Ireland.  

Serbians and The Irish have a serious loss due to unhealthiness and disqualifications. As for the opponent, there is a calm situation in the team.

At the training before the match, Giorgi Devdariani trained his players for making tactic schemes better. During the last two days, our coaching board and football players learnt video of our opponent team in details. Unfortunately, Ilia Kersdzvadze the captain of U-17 team will miss this match due to disqualification.

In the second group of Elite Round, situation is too tense. All the teams have 3-3 points and everyone keeps the chance of going through the group. After the second round, Georgian national team is in the first place, which gained the victory with the most points (against Ireland – 3:0). If Georgian team beats Austria and play draw and loses with Serbia, it becomes the champion of Europe. In case of victory of Georgia, if Serbia beats Ireland, Serbians will go through the stage. In a word, victory of Serbia is not profitable for us. Instead of Georgia we have to support for Ireland too.

As we have already mentioned, Georgian national team will do its best to gain three points. If everything goes according to the plan, Georgian national U-17 team will go through the European championship the second time in a row, which is really a big success for our country and for Georgian football.
