Sergio Llull, point guard of Real, was named the best player of Liga ACB in 2016/17. Edwin Jackson took the second place and Giorgi Shermadini took the third place.

Players and coaches gave Giorgi the second place but representatives of mass media and fans did not give high points to Shermadini. The Georgian center of MoraBanc Andorra earned 35 points, Jackson – 45 points and Llull – 100 points.
