Shota Arveladze may continue working in AZ Alkmaar, internet portal voetbalzone.nl reports. The Dutch club is planning to invite Arveladze in summer 2017. Current head coach John van den Brom’s contract is expiring after the end of the season and Arveladze will replace him.

Shota played for Alkmaar in 2005-2007 and was top scorer of the team. He scored 36 goals in 90 matches.

Now Arveladze is working for Maccabi Tel Aviv. He has worked in Kayserispor, Kasimpasa and Trabzonspor before. In 2008-2010 Arveladze worked as an assistant coach in Alkmaar.
