Giorgi Makaridze, goalkeeper of the Georgian national team, was named the best football player 2015 of “Feirense”, the website of the Portuguese club reports. The 25-year-old goalkeeper had a good season and was one of the leaders of the club.

Last year Makaridze was scored 35 goals in 34 matches. From November 4 to December 6 he had 5-match dry series.

On November 25 “Feirense” won by Makaridze’s penalty.

The Georgian goalkeeper plays for “Feirense” since summer 2014. After 36 rounds “Feirense” has 62 points and is 2 points behind leader “Porto”.

Vladimir Weiss, head coach of the Georgian national team, did not call up Makaridze for the match against Kazakhstan because Giorgi is injured.
