The Georgian U-21 team lost to Spain in Euro 2017 qualifying round match.
Despite losing 2:5, the Georgians did not play badly and they were even winning after an hour. Unfortunately, Spain managed to restore balance in two minutes which turned out to be decisive. The guests gained psychological advantage and scored other three goals.
Munir El Haddadi scored the first goal at the 2nd minute.
However, Mate Tsintsadze managed to restore balance in two minutes.
The guests had advantage and they could have scored two goals but missed them.
The Georgians did not have a real chance of scoring a goal.
The second half started with Spain’s advantage. At the 57th minute Munir El Haddadi was trying to score a brace but Kurdadze played well.
At the 60th minute Saba Lobzhanidze scored a beautiful goal from a long distance. Unfortunately, Marco Asensio scored a goal in two minutes and 2:2.
After that the Spaniards started playing more aggressively. At the 67th minute Mayoral scored a goal. Munir El Haddadi scored a brace in six minutes. At the 78th minute “Furia Roja” could have scored another goal but Kurdadze parried it.
However, the guests managed to score the fifth goal. At the 90th minute Ceballos scored a goal – 2:5.
