After the meeting with the president of GFF, technical director of biletebi.ge Giorgi Chkhikvishvili said that on June 23, the tickets of UEFA European Super Cup will not be sold online on the mentioned website.
Giorgi Chkhikvishvili: “Yesterday, we were watching how strong load it was on the website. Unfortunately, the site could not resist. We strengthened equipment, but the night tests demonstrated that neither this equipment can handle the load. Which is why, we decided not to sell tickets online today. We look for the alternative ways together with Football Federation, how to sell tickets. So far, the talk is about several options. We have spoken to UEFA this morning and told them we cannot sell tickets technically”.
Football Federation’s President Domenti Sichinava said that his office, biletebi-ge and UEFA jointly seek a way out of the problem.
Domenti Sichinava: “UEFA, the Georgian Football Federation and biletebi.ge jointly involved in searching for the way out, because the server of biletebi.ge could not resist such load. Today, the tickets on biletebi.ge will not be sold online. We will know which option we choose to sell tickets during the day”.
