The Georgia national football team held another Euro 2016 qualifying match at the National Stadium in Warsaw.
There was only one substitution in the match against Ukraine – Mate Vatsadze replaced Bachana Tskhadadze. Ucha Lobzhanidze and Giorgi Navalovski played in defence on wings. Guram Kashia, Aleksandre Amisulashvili and Lasha Dvali controlled central zone. Sandro Kobakhidze and Jano Ananidze played in midfield. Tornike Okriashvili and Vako Kazaishvili were to organize offences. Mate Vatsadze was the only forward.
The match started with Poland’s advantage. Robert Lewandowski, Kamil Grosicki and Arkadiusz Milik were active during the first 45 minutes. The hosts had a lot of chances to score goals in the first half. Lewandowski created dangerous moments for Georgia. Giorgi Loria parried unbelievable balls of Lewandowski in three episodes. In one episode Aleksandre Amisulashvili parried the ball near the line of empty net. In the first half the Georgians kicked only once toward the net – at the 43rd minute Sandro Kobakhidze’s kick turned out to be too weak.
The Georgia national team started the second half with substitutions. Okriashvili replaced Murtaz Daushvili and Jano Ananidze substituted Okriashvili. The Georgians started the second half better, controlled the ball and made two dangerous moments toward Lukasz Fabianski’s net. First after Jano Ananidze’s corner kick Guram Kashia could not shot the ball well and then Fabianski parried Kazaishvili’s ball. At the 62nd minute Milik scored a beautiful goal. Tskhadadze tried to improve situation. Giorgi Chanturia and Bachana Tskhadadze showed up in the second half but in vain. Tskhadadze’s team had the most real chance of scoring goal at the 82nd minute. Giorgi Navalovski kicked the ball but unfortunately crossbar parried it.
One minute before the end of the match the hosts increased the score by Lewandowski’s goal. Demoralized Georgians were scored other two goals in the rest of the match. Lewandowski scored both two goals. So, Poland won 4:0 like they did last November at “Dinamo Arena”. Poland is a leader with 14 points. Georgia is in the 5th place with 3 points and is ahead of only Gibraltar.
