Georgian national team’s midfielder Sandro Kobakhidze, who plays on loan from “Dnipro” to “Volyn” Lutsk, said in the interview with internet portal matchday.ua that it is unknown where he will continue his career after ending the season.
- You earned penalty in the match against “Dinamo” and your team kept the advantage for a long time. However, in the second half “Volyn” missed 3 goals. What prevented you from gaining points over the Championship’s leader?
-To tell the truth, I found it difficult to explain why our team plays the second half so badly. The match against “Dinamo” is not an unitary case. Of course, the team like “Dinamo” did not forgive such mistakes. A lot of free space emerged. Moreover, we could not score a goal.
-Can you say exactly what happened between Yarmolenko and Shust, when the referee gave the Ukrainian yellow card? Did Yarmolenko really feign?
-The point is that I have not seen this episode. At that moment, I was far from our goal post and I cannot say anything.
-It is the third match in a row “Volyn” has not won. Do this affect on the team psychologically?
-Of course. Losing is always frustrating, especially we have a real chance of going though to the European Cup. If the matches consist of one half, we would be in the top three already. Seriously, I do not know why we play the second half so unluckily. We have neither concentration nor physical problems. Maybe the problem is in psychology. In any case, we should work well to correct errors in order to earn maximum number of points in the next matches.
-Have you got used to the excessive emotionality and the strict requirements of Vitaliy Kvartsyanyi?
-I cannot say that he has strict requirements. Vitaliy Vladimirovich has his own methods and understands football differently. Simply, he is very emotional person and everybody accustomed to it already.
-Recently, the rumors about the financial problems of “Volyn” are widespread. Do they correspond to the truth?
-The entire Ukrainian football has no the best time currently and “Volyn” is not an exception. Indeed, now everything is not as we would like. I think the situation will improve and everything will be fine.
-Your contract belongs to “Dnipro” and you play on loan for “Volyn”. Will you return to Dnepropetrovsk after the end of the season or continue career in the team of Kvartsyanyi?
-To be honest, I cannot say what will happen in the future. I have contract with “Dnipro” for another two years and a half and in fact, I am a hostage of situation. I will end the season and let’s see what happens.
