Tornike Okriashvili, midfielder of the national team and Belgian “Genk”, is a winner of “World Sport Cup 2014”.
The poll was held on worldsport.ge from 25 to 28 February and 6521 fans participated in it. 2400 fans voted for Tornike Okriashvili. Solomon Kvirkvelia, defender of the national team and “Rubin” Kazan, was 253 votes behind Okriashvili. Jaba Kankava, captain of the national team and midfielder of “Dnipro” Dnipropetrovsk, took the 3rd place with 1360 votes.
Football player who receives the most votes of the fans is awarded with “World Sport Cup” since 2006.
The first coach of the winner football player will receive 150 GEL every month.
